Dina is SICK!!!

Hey, Lopez here.

Dina is sick. I think tomorrow I'll use an oxygen tank so I don't have to use the same air that Dina is expelling. Her kids were sick and now she has a sore throat. That made her less fun off the air. Sometimes I'm silly off the air and today Dina would just put her head down on the table instead of telling me to be quiet. I guess that's actually better. I don't have to hear all of her yapping! HA! (please don't tell her I said that, she'll come near me and cough on me or something)

Hopefully she will feel better tomorrow. Her sore throat made it hard for her to talk on the air, and we don't want her shushin' up.

Make sure you join us tomorrow because I'm going to sound sexy. Well, machines will make me sound sexy. It'll all make sense tomorrow.

And if you ever write a comment, sometimes, when I'm smart, I'll respond with a response (really? respond with a response? that's the best I could come up with??? what else would I respond with? a carrot?). I just want to make sure you know that I'm not ignoring them!

I'm off to get my anti-bodies all pumped up for a fight. They have a strict weight-lifting regimen.

Hi again, Lopez here. That's what I sound like when I talk with my mouth full! You didn't hear that this morning, but Dina and I seem to forget common courtesy sometimes. I remembered to ask her a question right after I put a pile of Go Lean in my mouth. And Dina didn't mind responding with a mouthful of pear. It was pretty funny. The conversation actually continued, too. I don't know that we actually understood each other, but it sure was engaging!

We then talked (without food in our mouth) about marriages only lasting 7 years. That's what they want to do in Germany. Then, you can go for another 7 years if you want, but they give you an out. Brilliant! That would save so many divorces! I always thought marriage should be a four-year lease, but 7 seems fair too. If you heard, the average marriage only lasts 8 years now, so 7 seems like a good time to get out.

What do you think? Genius or stupid? "Till death do you part" sounds so morbid. "Till the last season of Heroes ends" makes so much more sense!

More Wedding Bliss

Hi again. Lopez here.

Never let it be said that June is wedding month. I've never gone to a wedding in June. They have all been in August and September. Mostly September. I went to another one this weekend that was very nice. Not as eventful as my last wedding, which is probably a good thing. I did dance like a crazy meerkat, though. And meerkats are ridiculously good dancers.

The BIG news is that Heroes starts again tonight! Oh yeah. And you have a chance to win that HD DVD player if you answer our questions tomorrow morning.

Oh, Jason Bateman *swoon*

Hi, Lopez here. Did you hear about Dina's dream with Jason Bateman? It was funny! She was telling me about it off the air, so I made sure to let you, the beautiful audience, hear about it. She was not happy about that.

I won't got into detail about what happened in the dream because, well, this is a family blog.

Dina couldn't even remember what he looked like, but knew it was him. He's not super famous anymore. I don't remember many dreams, but I'm pretty sure I've never dreamt about somebody famous. I usually just dream about being Spider-Man or something. You know, saving the world and stuff.

Anybody out there have dreams with somebody famous in them? You could just be dreaming that you went to lunch with Brad Pitt. It can be any sort of dream. Let us know!

Well, Lopez here again with fashion fun!

Dina didn't match today. I didn't say that on the air because she said she would hit me. She didn't say anything about the blog, though!

Yeah, she woke up late or something and came in all mixed up. Whatever. She was happy that her skirt felt too big, though. Her diet seems to be working. Next time you see Dina, tell her she looks thinner. She's doing a good job.

Survivor starts tonight. I'll let you know if I like anybody on the show this season. I felt a little bored last season except for the fact that Earl and Yao Man were really cool. Yeah, that's how I judge reality shows. I need awesome people to be there if they want my awesome time of day!

So, I hope you heard the news, the secret sound is back! It's going to be fun hearing all of your guesses about what the sound is.

That's all for today, I have to go get my car. She was shaking yesterday. Which is kind of like me. Yeah, if you didn't know, I have the shakes. Maybe I'll explain that someday, but next time you need somebody to thread a needle, DO NOT ask me, it'll take about three hours. Not fun.

Did anybody watch Beauty and the Geek last night? I love that show. I'm such a geek. I'm sure I'd have a fun time with those geeks on the show. We know how to party with some comic books and a 20-sided die. We can roll it to see how much fun we can have...wow...that's a really geeky thing to say. I'd probably cooler if I talked about shoes, right?

Anyways, make sure you're here tomorrow morning for the big announcement at 7:05. It should be fun.

Dina broke it...

Hi again. Lopez here.

Dina broke her chair! HA! It was funny. About ten seconds before we went on the air, Dina was leaning back and we heard a pop sound and Dina almost fell over. It was funny! If you heard that moment on the air, you probably heard us laughing before we started talking. It was great.

Anyways, we have a new printer/fax machine for the FM studio! Yeah! It works now! We're so excited. If you want to fax us something, you can send it to 413-733-WMAS (9627). We'd love to start getting faxes in there again. Make sure you tell us that it's for the Morning Crew.

We love the emails and phone calls and blog posts too. They are all great! But you can fax us pictures. That would be fun!

Dina and I are going to have a little art competition coming up soon, too.

OH! AND a big announcement on Thursday at 7:05! It's good stuff.

I have to go prepare for my big night of beauty and the geek. It's going to have a geek girl on this season.

Oh, and be careful of lettuce. I hear it's on the prowl again. It has these claws that give you E. coli when it hits you. Dangerous stuff.
